Drop Shipments: Download and use this MS-Excel spreadsheet as your mailing list guide. By following this format and the guidelines listed below, you significantly increase the accuracy of your mailing.
Drop Shipping Do's & Dont's:
- Provide complete address information.
- Left justify all columns.
- Format the Zip/Postal code column as "text." This ensures that 5-digit and 9-digit codes will sort accurately; and will not allow Eastern United State zip codes with leading zeros (e.g. 01122) to be truncated.
- Do abbreviate long addresses as needed.
- Do use the Address 2 column for lengthy addresses.
- Include extra spaces before or after information. (This causes uneven label formatting.)
- Abbreviate countries other than USA or UK.
- Use P.O. boxes if using a service other than United States Postal Service (USPS).
- Exceed 35 characters in any column.
