Bottom Line: SMRP needed a convenient, comprehensive way for members to access and purchase educational content online.

Where is the flexibility?
With conference proceedings dating back to 2001, metrics, BenchMaRX and publications, developing valuable content for their members was never an issue for SMRP. They had an entire “library of knowledge,” but could not seem to find the right way to share it online. Their basic online store lacked space and professional appeal. It was also difficult for members to search for specific content, and SMRP could not offer free access to members while offering paid access for non-members.
Time for a Switch
SMRP needed a new way to share their content online in order to keep their members happy, but their budget was tied up in the old online store. They needed a way to affordably switch to a new online system and fast!
One Stop Content Shop
When SMRP met Omnipress at CESSE’s CEO Mid-Winter Meeting, they found the tool they needed. Omnipress’ Digital Publishing Platform provided a way to deliver free access to members while offering paid access to non-members. The online library made it easy to search content, while providing the exposure to major search engines SMRP was hoping to find. The digital publishing platform now provided a true Library of Knowledge.
Online Content Drives Website Traffic and Sales
With their digital publishing platform in place, SMRP’s website statistics have greatly improved! They have seen a 20% increase in website visits since their digital publishing platform went live. With a new marketing plan in place, SMRP expects their website traffic to continue to increase and help drive association membership and revenue.
