  1. Device I would never give up ... a Kindle. OK, I don’t have one yet, but I’m sure it would be my favorite.
  2. I love watching ... the sky at night – finding the constellations and watching for shooting stars.
  3. My favorite movie is … depends on my mood, but Casablanca is definitely one of them.
  4. I wish I had more … money!
  5. My favorite holiday is ... Labor Day. It hasn’t been over-commercialized, it’s a 3-day weekend and it happens just as everyone is gearing up for back-to-school and the change of seasons, so I feel a sense of renewal.
  6. The person that inspires me the most is … my daughter. She’s an optimist, a free-thinker, an artist and still very down-to-earth.
  7. When I have an extra hour at home, I like to … take a nap!
  8. What I would like to be the world’s best at … languages, I wish I could speak dozens of languages.
  9. I prefer AM or FM radio … Wisconsin Public Radio (FM)
  10. I love to take vacations ... That’s it – any vacation, anywhere, any time.
  11. I make the best … chocolate chip cookies. They’re popular with my daughter’s college roommates.

  13. My favorite city is… Paris. As Gertrude Stein said, “America is my country and Paris is my home town.”
  14. I like to read… and read and read.  This is why I need a Kindle!
  15. Five people (living or dead) that I’d like to invite to dinner are … Mahatma Gandhi, Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Thomas Jefferson and my dad. Fascinating conversations!
