Bob Felland

President and Founder

If there is one word family, friends and co-workers would use to describe Bob Felland, it is “inspirational.”

Bob entered the printing and publishing industry in 1965 working for a company in Madison, WI who produced college textbooks and offered typing services for graduate students working on their theses! It was 12 years later he took his expertise and skills and founded Omnipress. For Bob, Omnipress has been his most gratifying professional accomplishment.

But Omnipress isn’t Bob’s only love in life- being mostly retired Bob loves spending time with his wife Linda, four children and 11 grandchildren. He also loves continuing to learn new things everyday by reading and interacting with knowledgeable people. He also seeks inspiration in the wilderness of Alaska which is his home of choice these days.

Since retiring, Bob has proudly focused on helping others. He has funded many programs in Alaska, Arizona, Michigan and Wisconsin for many young people. Some of these efforts include:

  • Building a youth water-ski park and donating it to the community
  • Providing youth hockey scholarship programs
  • Providing swimming lessons for hundreds of elementary school students
  • Funding a youth educational program in Alaska which provides scientific learning opportunities for students relative to the earthquake and tsunami causes and risks evolving from the great Alaskan earthquake in 1964 of which he survived in Valdez
  • Providing four-year scholarship programs for civil engineering students
  • Funding school tutoring programs.

Bob is a great believer in sharing knowledge, keeping in mind "most everything we know in life we learned from someone else." Because of this, he believes we hold a moral obligation to pass that knowledge on and inspire others. This is what inspired Omnipress’ mission of helping people share knowledge.

Bob continues to inspire Omnipress employees with his wisdom and knowledge as they work together helping associations spread their wisdom and knowledge.
