Madison, WI – Bob Felland, President and Founder of Omnipress, recently appointed Tracy Gundert as the Executive Vice President and Leader of the organization effective immediately after the departure of former CEO, David McKnight. Gundert will continue to drive the Omnipress team forward as they continue to provide big ideas and innovative solutions for associations’ educational content.

In June of 1991 right after graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Stout with a BS in Industrial Technology, Gundert joined the Omnipress team. She took on the role of Print Production Manager and quickly advanced to a leadership role where she has continued to provide vision and strategic direction for the organization. She was the key driver in the implementation of Quick Response Manufacturing, a unique approach to reduce waste and lead times which has reengineered the organization. She also played a key role in expanding the organization into the training and publications industries.
Gundert has a strong commitment to helping associations be more relevant by using technology to deliver educational content to its members and greater audience. She states, “The technology-driven generation along with changes in the economy has led to major shifts within associations today. Now more than ever, associations are seeking more cost-efficient, effective ways to reach a wider audience with their educational content.” Gundert continues, “We have been more than a printer for a long time. And now we are providing innovative content solutions from print to digital to online. We will continue to move forward serving associations with the latest solutions for content delivery.”
Providing associations with big ideas for content delivery in the meetings, training and educational publications industries is at the heart of Omnipress. Gundert will continue to drive the organization to be more integrative with associations, bookstores and registration systems in order to provide quality on-demand printing and fulfillment to help build associations’ brands. Online knowledge centers and abstract collection management systems will continue to be a focus while opening up delivery solutions to eBook formats.
