Don’t let the stitches or the black eye fool you – although our former professional hockey player still gets the occasional stick in the face, he’s all business in the office.
Having been employed with Omnipress since 1995 (after getting his B.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire), Chris has had more job titles than anyone else in the company (and we're not kidding): IT Manager, Digital Media Leader, Assistant Sales Manager, Product Development Manager.
He's a bit of a maverick and sometimes thinks he's a rockstar which is why being the chief marketing guy makes Omnipress fun and exciting.
Chris leads the company's marketing efforts working closely with customers, product managers and his Sales team to define and deliver meaningful content (i.e., this web site) to explain our services and help educate customers. He believes web sites and messages need a personality or they'll just blend with everything else.
We don't really care, we just hope to keep him in this role so we don't have to reprint his business cards (again).
Outside of work, Chris spent 10 years coaching the UW Women’s Club Hockey team where he won two national tournaments and was awarded the "coach of the year" award. He now coaches his oldest daughter's youth hockey team.
When he's not on skates, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
Chris also dedicates time to the Arthritis Foundation helping to support the Arthritis Walk event (his
youngest daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at just 15 months). In 2008, his wife and him were awarded the WI Media Promotion Award for their creative approach and dedication to the cause and recently were awarded the "Heart of the Mission" award by the Arthritis Foundation national office.
