Our first recycling guidelines appeared in our 1984 employee handbook, and we continue to implement new technologies using old-fashioned common sense to do our part to protect our employees and the environment.

Omnipress has and continues to make significant investments in technology, process improvements and relationships with our key suppliers; ensuring that we stay focused on a greener future.

As of July 2009, we have been certified to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody Standard (BV-COC-029418). The certification guarantees that the FSC-certified paper flows directly through a FSC certified supply chain. This is significant because FSC identifies the companies that legally harvest wood; thus supporting the responsible foresting companies linked with manufacturing paper.

Omnpress customers can apply this certification to their projects for an additional fee. Doing so:

  • Assures our customers that the paper products have come from forests that are well managed - meaning that they take into account environmental, social and economic principles and criteria.
  • Links their brand to economic and social responsibility
  • Allows us to place the FSC logo and certification on their publications.
